Today our cat,
Tito, went to her final resting place in the far corner of Ron and Patty's acreage. Shortly after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, Tito was, too! Can you believe it?!! We made her comfortable for as long as seemed humane and now we've said our good-byes.
RIP TITO!! I will miss you.
Heather, a team is exactly what we all need when we face such an ugly opponant. My family and friends were amazing. People I barely knew became friends and part of my support system.
ReplyDeleteYou will win dammit and be damn proud you beat it!!!! I am certain that your strength, humour and attitude will not only lighten the hearts of those who know and love you but will inspire those who are or will in the future face such an ugly demon.
Dan and I will be praying for you, Kevin, Hannah and Luke every step of the way. We are looking forward to toasting your success very soon!
Love, Amy
Thanks so much, Amy, oh wise one! I appreciate your words of wisdom, experience and encouragement. I especially look forward to that "toasting" part. Thanks for being there in Kevin's immediate camp, too. I'm glad to know he has such a supportive environment there, as I knew he would.

I know this is several years ago now but just wanted to say I'm sorry for the loss of your cat. I had to put my dog down due to health issues a couple of years ago - after being together 14 years. It's the hardest thing I ever had to do and you had to do it at an already difficult time in your life.
