A Motherload of Batiks!

Pretty amazing, huh? And you can't even see all of it in this photo. Underneath the fabric squares are even more fabric squares. A whole LOT of batik fabric! AND, I was especially tickled to win some of these leftover quilt squares from one of Anita Grossman Solomon's projects! Now to see if I can duplicate them with some of the batik fabrics and make a full sized quilt. I think it could be made into a nice, bright, summery quilt for the lake. A little shot of colour.

I won this fabric from the QuiltMaker blog. I had no idea what I was winning and it turned out to be so much more than I'd anticipated. AMAZING! While I've admired all the beautiful batik fabrics, I've never had any before. WOW!

  1. Heather, I found your blog because I work as an editor for Quiltmaker. Carolyn shared your nice thank-you note with our staff. When I read that you are going through treatment, I wanted to offer some words of support and encouragement. My best wishes for recovery and victory! Keep fighting and know that I am pulling for you.
