Well, you don't need me to tell you how cold and miserable it is out there! This is the view from my window at work. Snow was blowing around in that corner of the building and was sticking in clumps to my window. Brrrrrr ...I'm so glad we're leaving this behind us on Friday!! Not that the weather is supposed to be great in the Eastern USA but it's got to be better than this! I think it's supposed to be hovering on either side of zero while we're there.
It's been a busy week getting ready to go and last night we went to a lacrosse party to celebrate all the the hard work done by the volunteers who made last summer's National Field Lacrosse tournament such a success. It was great to see everyone. A lot of the people are "hockey parents" as well. It made me miss the rink and the field. When we go to the States to see Luke play, we'll meet up with some of the other parents who will be there at the same time - people we've met previous years. I'm really looking forward to that! In fact, it will be a BLAST!
Last Sunday we watched Luke's against the University of Delaware on our computer. It was a good quality webcast and it was a great game! Bellarmine lost in overtime ... RATS! I was so happy to be able to SEE Luke play and to see his beautiful break away goal. Seeing him play live will be even better, though I expect some very tough opponents. What will also be extra fabulous is having Hannah with us while we're there. YEAH!!
I have SO much to do before we leave. I'd better get crack-a-lackin'!

ReplyDeleteI was so sure your order would have arrived by now I don't understand why it isn't. The tracking shows that it was shipped on Monday. Is someone picking up your mail while your gone?
That's so nice that your whole family will be together. I'm looking forward to seeing the photos!
