Luke is 20 today! We have no teenagers anymore, which is neither here nor there. Just a simple fact. For his birthday, Luke got one goal and one assist as his part in a win over the Air Force Academy in Colorado. Bellarmine won 11-10. A close one. He also got an "illegal equipment" penalty because the pocket of his lacrosse stick was too deep. Oops.
The team was having dinner and going to a movie before flying back to Louisville at 4:00 a.m.
For Luke's birthday we had party without him. Lynne made a scrumptious carrot cake and decorated it for Luke and Kathy. Here it is. Allan is being Luke as he helps Kathy (the birthday girl ... on April 1 she turned 30) blow out the 2 measly candles, which were all I could find in my drawer.
