Who's Trippin' Down The Streets of the City ...?

... everyone knows it's Windy!

I woke up several times in the night to the sound of howling wind! Nasty!

Two days until chemo. Tomorrow I have three medical appointments at the Champion Centre.
1. Bloodwork - a.m.
2. Meet with Oncologist - a.m.
3. Meet with Radiologist - p.m.
I'm not really sure why I'm meeting with the Radiologist yet and what that will entail. As I understand it, I'm to have surgery before radiation and I don't think radiation can start until 6 weeks after surgery. Oh well, I guess we'll find out what that's all about.

Though it's early to tell for sure, I think I feel pretty good this morning. Hopefully I can get some things done today and tomorrow afternoon in preparation for the days when I'll feel like total crap. There are some house chores that have been neglected and a couple of outside errands to do. I'm a little nervous about going out in the wind. What if my wig blows off my head? Yikes!!

  2. Princess Heather:
I was just checking in knowing that we are nearing the end of the chemo countdown -- whoo hoo. I suspect they will have us walk uphill on Sunday to reflect your position in your fight -- onward and upward girlfriend

  3. Hi Heather,
Hope you had a good day, and that your wig stayed with you!
Sorry I missed you this afternoon. Dropped off some used magazines; and alittle bouquet that barely made it through the wind. Love the big dandelion fluffs. . . Hope it survives the doorstep!

  4. Hi Laurel! I think we were computer posting at the same time! Thanks for the fluffies! I LOVE THEM! As you can see, they survived. You must have sprayed them! So sorry I missed you.

  5. Thanks for the well wishes, Devy! I don't yet know for sure what the next surgery will entail. More lymph nodes for sure but as to whether we lop the whole thing off or just take a bigger piece of it, I won't know until I've discussed it with my surgeon. I had decided to cross that bridge when we get to it and soon is the time.

  6. Hey Charlie! Thanks for the gung-ho woo-hooing! I both dread this last treatment and can't wait to get it over with. And what do you mean WALK up hill on Sunday? Surely you know that everyone has agreed to run the whole way, don't you? Or did you miss that memo?
