I had my radiation treatment at 8:30 this morning and will be going back to sleep right away. I'm feeling SUPER tired even though I went to bed pretty early.
Radiation Treatment Status: 11 done. 19 to go.
My stomach felt slightly queazy while I was on the table this time. This is about the third time my stomach has become a little upset, but usually it happens a little while after a treatment. I'm a little swollen under my armpit and tender, of course, in the whole area but not too bad really. Things are better than I had expected after feeling some discomfort after the very first radiation treatment, so that's a good thing.
I finished my last lasix pill yesterday. My ankles are still good this morning. I have a call in to my doctor to discuss the whole lasix business.
I love Gerberas they are so bright and cheery.....the Rider game not so much bright and cheery. I think it is my fault because my boys kept saying "we so got this" and I kept being the pessimist saying not to count their chickens before they were hatched ya da ya da......and look what happened.....so ya I will take the blame. Oh well.......glad to hear the km are ticking away and the race is still in progress and you are still on pace to get that medal!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care and remember to breathe deeply!!!!
Your running splurge pal Gail
Hi Gail,
ReplyDeleteI took the same approach as you to the game, reminding everyone that "this is football - anything can happen". So maybe it was my fault! EEEK!
As for my marathon. I seem to have had a wipe-out and have been now bleeding in the ditch. I'm waiting for paramedics to bandage me up and stand me back up on the track. Give me a day. Meanwhile, I'll try to breathe.
Thanks, Coach Gail.
