Then again, this is Vancouver and I don't think chanting works or someone would have figured it out by now.There was so much rain yesterday. The beginning of monsoon season. Hannah says you can just feel a general crankiness set in over the city not so much because of the rain but because the rain signals the beginning of what is typically many days of rain and no sunshine. It certainly was dreary and wet yesterday. But we were warm and happy while dining at Grub, a restaurant on Main Street. The food was really wonderful ... so flavourful and prepared to perfection. We were all smiling. And then we went to a movie ... The Invention of Lying ... not SO good but had a few funny moments.
Ankle status: still puffy but not as bad as in Saskatoon. I'm still getting around, though I'm slow and have limited endurance. It's good I have no reason to rush.

I think I'd rather be there than here for Halloween. . Our neighbours have told us to expect up to 500 kids. . Yikes!! Sounds like I should just put on a warm coat and set up a chair outside.
